LASER TATTOO REMOVAL
The Lumenis Q-Switch laser targets tattoo pigment with high-powered, quick pulses creating a photo thermal effect that fragments the tattoo pigment so that the body can naturally get rid of the pigment. Over a series of treatments, the pigment will become more shallow and fade away.
WHAT LASER TATTOO REMOVAL DOES
The Q-Switch laser is very effective in removing unwanted tattoos and the safest laser for skin of color. Unlike other technologies, the Lumenis Q-Switch does not harm the surrounding tissue. The Q-Switch laser also promotes collagen stimulation so that your skin texture improves with each treatment as well.

Tattoo removal can be uncomfortable and is described as feeling like a rubber band snapping against the skin. The discomfort can be managed with the use of a numbing cream, and many people report only mild discomfort during the procedure. However, the level of discomfort can vary depending on the individualβs pain tolerance and the location and size of the tattoo being removed.
-
The number of laser tattoo removal sessions you will need depends on a number of factors, including the size, color, and location of the tattoo. On average, most people will need between six and twelve sessions to fully remove a tattoo. Itβs important to keep in mind that laser tattoo removal is a process and it can take time to see the full results.
